Last Sunday saw a great turn out from Birdwell Wheelers for the weekly Sunday club rides.

Diane Barron, Tina Oakes, Angela Parkin, Paul Maude, Liam Meggett, Tony Lodge, Gene Richardson, Robert Barker, Chris Jenkins, Steve Myatt and Rodger Holmes rode to the newly reopened Farm House Cafe at Womersley travelling 42miles for the round trip.

A group of faster riders consisting of Dave Hudson, Austin Watson, Rob Parkes, Phil Adams and Alan Bullock rode an 80 mile round trip calling in at The Lemon Tree café in Tadcaster.

Birdwell’s Sunday club rides are currently restricted to a maximum of 15 riders. Meet at Brewers Fayre roundabout, Wombwell at 9am. Visitors are welcome. This Sunday’s ride will be going to Goole. Check the club’s Facebook page https://tinyurl.com/BW-FB-page for last minute changes.
