Last Saturday Wheeler Paul Heggie rode the YCF 15 mile Open Time Trial at Boroughbridge on the old A1. Heggie’s time of 41m 07s placed him 23rd in a field of 33 and 5^th of 8 in his age group.

His time set a new club record at 67 years old for the distance.

On Tuesday Wheeler Chris Venters rode in the TCDG Race League circuit race at Ashton-under-Lyne. He finished 6^th out of a field of 12 finishers.

Following the easing of Covid rules the club is now meeting for the Sunday rides at Brewers Fayre roundabout, Wombwell at 9am. Visitors are welcome. Check the club’s Facebook page https://tinyurl.com/BW-FB-page for last minute changes.

The club next meet on Friday 20^th August at Birdwell Community Centre 7.30pm. Visitors are welcome.
