The final round of Birdwell Wheelers 5 and 10 mile series took place last Tuesday. Fastest over the 10 miles on the night was Trevor Mayne in 22m 40s with Paul Heggie 2nd in 24m 40s and Marc Peasegood 3rd in 26m 38s. First on handicap was John Woodhouse and this cemented his position as winner of the handicap series for 2018 with 48 points. 2nd was Austin Watson on 42 points and 3rd Marc Peasegood on 39 points.

Tuesday 7th August is the date for the Club’s 10 mile Championship starting at 7pm at Park Springs. Visitors are welcome but are not eligible for the trophy.
On Sunday Paul Mynett, Tony Lodge and guest Peter Cardy braved atrocious weather conditions and rode a 125 mile loop to the Humber Bridge.
This Sunday’s club run is to Hope in the Peak District. Visitors are welcome. Meet at 9.15 at Brewers Fayre Wombwell.
