Last Sunday seven hardy Birdwell Wheelers turned out to complete the club’s annual 50 miles in 4 hours reliability ride. Very challenging weather with a combination of 50 mph gusting winds, bitter cold and hail showers made for a tough ride. Steve Myatt, Philip Stewart Adams, Dave Hudson, Roger Bacon, Marc Peasegood, Austin D Watson and Tina Oakes all completed the ride out to Askern and Darrington within the allotted time.

This Sunday’s ride is to Lotherton Hall and visitors are welcome. Meet at Brewers Fayre roundabout Wombwell at 9am. There will also be a beginners group ride starting from the same point at 9:30 am. Riders are advised to wear a helmet.
