Last Saturday new club members Sally Salter and Diane Barron completed the Clumber Park Sprint Duathlon which involved a 5km run, followed by a 20km bike ride and finishing with a 2.5km run. Sally finished 3rd in her age category and Diane 8th in hers.
Sunday’s club run saw five Wheelers turn up and split into two - destinations Sherburn and Askern. Steve Myatt and Rodger Holmes rode the shorter 40 mile loop to Askern whilst David Woodhouse, Philip Stewart Adams and Austin D Watson rode the 60 mile loop to Sherburn.
This Sunday’s club run is to Carburton and visitors are welcome. Meet at Brewers Fayre at 9am.
