Last Saturday Wheeler Paul Heggie travelled over to Middlewich to ride in the second of three Manchester & District 10 mile Open Time Trials. He finished in 26m 45s placing 31st of 38 riders and 5th of 8 in his age group. If he hadn’t lost valuable seconds behind two slow cars in the last two miles he would have beaten his own age record set last week. The last of the three events is next Saturday on the same course.

Following the easing of Covid rules the club is now meeting for the Sunday rides at Brewers Fayre roundabout, Wombwell at 9am. Visitors are welcome. Check the club’s Facebook page https://tinyurl.com/BW-FB-page for last minute changes.
