Last Saturday Wheeler Dan Emery rode the Halifax Imperial Hill Climb on Ripponden Bank. His time of 4m 48.4s on the 1.25km climb with an average gradient of 9.6% and peaking at 17.2% placed him 16^th of 27 finishers and 2^nd in his 40-49 years age group.

On the same day Paul Heggie travelled over to Middlewich to ride in the last of three Manchester & District 10 mile Open Time Trials. He finished in 26m 48s placing 20th of 29 riders and 5^th of 8 in his age group.
