Tuesday saw the third of seven 10 mile Club Time Trials at Park Springs. John Woodhouse was first Wheeler home in 28m 20s just 8 seconds ahead of Dave Hudson. 3rd was Austin Watson in 29m 10s , 20 seconds ahead of Kath Brankin. Dave Hudson was the winner on handicap.

The fourth event in the series is on Tuesday 17th July signing on from 6:30 and visitors are welcome.

Wheeler Paul Heggie rode the Sherwood CC 10 Mile Open Time Trial on the A1 at Long Bennington on Saturday evening. His time of 24m 22s was just under a 25 mph average speed and placed him 76th out of 107 finishers.

Sunday’s club run saw two groups out in the glorious weather. Paul Mynett, Tony Lodge, Phil Adams and Roger Holmes completed a 45 mile round trip to Oldcotes while Austin D Watson, Steve Myatt, Chris Jenkins and Dave Hudson rode a 90 mile loop via Retford to Clipstone

This week’s run sets off from Brewers Fayre roundabout Wombwell at 9:15 and heads out on a 60 mile hilly ride to Hope Valley. Visitors are welcome.
