With the racing season over, Birdwell Wheelers members are starting their winter season of club rides.
The A group ride saw Chris Jenkins, Robert Parkes, Philip Stewart Adams and Dave Hudson complete a 60 mile loop to Holmfirth via High Flatts returning through Millhouse Green with over 5000 feet of climbing.

Meanwhile on the B ride Steve Myatt, Roger Holmes and a visitor rode a flatter 50 mile loop to Carlton near Goole.
This Sunday’s ride is a flat 45 mile loop to Laughton-en-le-Morthen. Meet at Brewers Fayre Wombwell at 9:15am. Visitors are welcome.
On Saturday 10th November the club’s Annual Prize Dinner is being held at the Edmunds Arms Worsbrough Village. Guest of honour presenting the awards is ex-club member Dan Taylor.
