Last Saturday saw Wheeler Trevor Mayne ride in the Sheffrec CC 25 mile Open Time Trial at Hatfield Woodhouse. His time of 59m 38s at just over 25 mph placed him 10^th overall and 4^th in the 50-59 year age group.

Tuesday saw the first of the club’s series of ten 5 mile Time Trials at Thurgoland. On a warm and sunny evening just three riders turned out. Fastest on the night was Josh Power of Barnsley Road Club in an excellent time of 12m 46s. Fastest Wheeler was Joe Woodhouse in 16m 13s just 10 seconds ahead of Wheeler Paul Heggie

Sunday’s club ride meets at 9am at Brewers Fayre Wombwell. Visitors are welcome.

The 2nd of Birdwell’s 5 mile club time trials is on Tuesday May 9^th. Visitors welcome. First rider off at 19:00. Signing on just out of Thurgoland towards Hoylandswaine.
