Last Sunday Wheeler Trevor Mayne travelled down to Bedford for the Finsbury Park CC 25 mile Open time trial on the A1. Strong winds meant that no records were set but Mayne setting off at 7:51am had a strong ride finishing in 56m 30s. This placed him 7th overall and 2nd on age handicap.

Last Tuesday 6 riders braved a torrential downpour to ride in the club’s first of three hill climbs. Fastest on the night on the climb up America Lane, Hoober was visitor Dan Emery in 3m 23.9s.

Mayne was fastest of the five Wheelers in 3m 41.6s.
